For the Spring-Summer 2021 ready-to-wear show, Maria Grazia Chiuri presents a new piece called Dior Palto. The model is inspired by the Diopaletot creation designed for the 1957 Autumn-Winter collection and presented in Japan by Daimaru in collaboration with Christian Dior. This reversible piece is made from agglomerated technical cotton with a denim effect with a blue side and a Dior Oblique motif on the other, and features a “Christian Dior” signature stripe on the back. The short jacket with three-quarter sleeves enhances the silhouette with elegance and daring while maintaining its casual and comfortable style; an ode to freedom of movement. Maria Grazia Chiuri develops her committed approach to the origin of fashion, the type of cut and the essence of the garment.
