For the Spring-Summer 2021 ready-to-wear show, Maria Grazia Chiuri presents a new piece called Dior Palto. The model is inspired by the Diopaletot creation designed for the 1957 Autumn-Winter collection and presented in Japan by Daimaru in collaboration with Christian Dior. It has a short silhouette and has been crafted in navy blue cotton denim chambray that highlights the Dior Jardin motif, obtained by laser bleaching. A long tone-on-tone cord serves as a belt and enhances the waist with elegance and daring while maintaining the casual and comfortable style of the garment, an ode to freedom of movement. Maria Grazia Chiuri develops her committed approach to the origin of fashion, the type of cut and the essence of the garment.
